The inscription on the plaque at the front of the cottage reads:
Francis Murray 1846 - 1900
Francis , son of, William and Frances Murray
Lived in this cabin. In 1861 he
Left Drumoghill, sailing fromn Larne to
Portpatrick nr Stranraer Scotland
In 1873 he married and settled in
Glaisdale North Yorkshire
In 1892 he moved with his Family to
Hunslet , Leeds, Yorkshire where he died
on St Patricks Day 1900
Buriel at Killingbeck Cemetery Leeds
His descendants travelled to all parts of
England and around the World.
