An occurrence, unfortunately too frequent in this country, took place on the night of the 16th inst. DAVID WARRELL, whose father has a respectable shop in Convoy, and SAMUEL WILSON, farmer, of Bonnygee, left Convoy together ... the former, it is said, purposing to go part of the way home with the latter. On the way they both drank to intoxication, quarrelled, and in the quarrel, Wilson unfortunately lost his life. Warrell was sent to Lifford gaol; but, on Saturday, admitted to bail, the verdict of a Coroner’s Inquest being “justifiable homicide.”... We understand the parties were half brothers, and also connected by marriage. “Oh! that man should put an enemy within his mouth, to steal away his brains!”

MELANCHOLY ACCIDENT On Thursday last, as JOHN M’KELVEY, a horse dealer, from Convoy, in the County of Donegal, was returning, with others, from the fair at Belturbet, he happened to be a little behind his comrades, when within about five miles of this town, and riding quickly to overtake them, just at Drumain bridge, when the animal coming with force against the battlement of the bridge, the man was precipitated over into the water and unfortunately drowned. On the body being found an inquest was held by MR. TROTTER, coroner, and a verdict to the above effect returned. Several persons witnessed the melancholy occurrence, but could render no assistance, the water being deep and no vessel convenient at the time. He was, we understand, a decent industrious man
