McCorkell & Co Passengers
Extracted from "Irish Passenger Lists 1847-1871", Lists of Passengers Sailing from Londonderry to America on Ships of the J. & J. Cooke Line and the McCorkell Line, Compiled under the direction of Brian Mitchell, Genealogy Publishing Co., Inc.
The following were all from the McCorkell Line lists, which included addresses, and are from the general area of Churchill which lies about 6 miles west of Letterkenny. The first date is when the passenger was "engaged" at Philadelphia, PA, followed by the name of the ship and it's scheduled sailing from Londonderry. This list is in order by surname. The spelling of townland names varies greatly from the accepted due to the difficulty in reading original handwritten records and the actual spelling used.
