Mrs. John Gilson, of 578 North Church street, died at 12 o'clock noon yesterday at State Hospital where she was a patient two weeks. Before marriage she was Margaret Malloy. She was born in Drifton and resided in this city the last fifteen years. Mrs. Gilson was a member of St. Gabriel's church. She is survived by her husband, John; four daughters: Mrs. William Farley, of Freeland, Mrs. Margaret Coombe of Bethlehem and Laura and Catherine of this city; two sons, Thomas and James of this city; three sisters: Mrs. Patrick Ferry and Mrs. Thomas Gallagher of Freeland and Mrs. Ira Curry of Lenni, Pa., and two brothers, John Malloy of St. Johns and Charles Malloy of this city. Funeral will take place Friday morning at 9 o'clock. Solemn high mass of requiem in St. Gabriel's church at 9:30 am. Interment in St. Ann's cemetery, Woodside

Mrs. Malloy, age 117, born County Donegal, Ireland, died last week near
Tamaqua.

Bridget Gallagher Dead - The community was shocked on the Sabbath when informed that Miss Bridget Gallagher, one of the respected women on the North Side was claimed in death at the homestead, at the corner of Adam and Carbon streets (Freeland) at 9:15 am, Sunday, where she had been ill for the past several weeks. She was a devoted member of the St. Ann's church, where she belonged to the various church organizations, whose members are mourning her departure from among their ranks. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Gallagher, who long since passed the great divide. She is survived by three brothers, James and Peter at home, and Dennis Gallagher, of Walnut street, Freeland. The funeral will be held on Wednesday morning at nine o'clock, and a requiem high mass service will be celebrated in the St. Ann's church, on Centre street at 9:30 o'clock, after which her corpse will be assinged to its earthly reward in the St. Ann's cemetery at Woodside

Mrs. Malloy's Death
Mrs. Patrick Malloy, of Farview Street, died of pneumonia Sunday. She was born in Ireland fifty-one years ago. She had been a resident of this city (Carbondale) four years. Deceased is survived by her sister, Miss Ellen Gallagher, her daughters, Mrs James Gallagher, of this city and Mrs. John McCall, of Philadelphia, and sons, John and Michael, of this city; Frank and Con, of Philadelphia; Bernard of Ireland and Edward, of Sheppton. The funeral will be held at 9 o'clock tomorrow morning in St. Rose church. Interment will be made in Freeland. (St. Anne's Cemetery

The remains of Edward Malloy of Sheppton were laid to rest in St. Ann's cemetery, Woodside. A high mass was celebrated in St. Ann's church at 9:30 o'clock.

Charles Gallagher. Mrs. Charles Malloy received word of the death of her brother, Charles Gallagher, of Scranton. He is survived by his wife and three children and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. John Malloy, Carbondale; Bridget Gallagher, Carbondale; Thomas Gallagher, Carbondale, and Mrs. Charles Malloy, this city. The funeral will be held tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock. Many friends from this city will attend.

Word was received here yesterday of the death of Miss Helen Gallagher, of Wilkes-Barre. She was a graduate nurse of the Mercy Hospital, Wilkes-Barre. She is survived by two brothers, Frank and James, of Wilkes-Barre, an uncle, Michael Malloy, of Philadelphia, an aunt, Mrs. Charles Malloy, and Mrs. John Duffy, of this city. The funeral will take place Thursday morning at 9 o'clock, with services at St. Mary's Church, Wilkes-Barre.
