John and Michael sons of Denis Gallagher b. 1849 and Mary Ann McElwee

John Gallagher b. 1880 born Hazelton, PA

Michael Gallagher b. 1883 d. 1954 NYC, buried Long Island National cemetery

Denis goes back to Ireland with the two boys leaving Mary Ann in the US 

Denis dies in Ireland and two boys are left living with Uncle John Gallagher, who took over the house of Owen Gallagher 1880 4a in Rosbeg. 

At some point between 1901 and 1911, both nephews John and Michael, go back to the US

Michael joins the military and lists his mother as next of kin on his military records.  Mary Ann Gallagher is living in Duluth, Minnesota in 1917.  By 1920 they are not

in Duluth.  From military records Michael marries a Mary ?? and lived in Brooklyn, NY.

John Gallagher works in the copper mines of British Columbia and gets black lung.  After he becomes ill, he goes back to Ireland before Nov 1921 and takes over the land

from John Gallagher. He marries Teresa Craig in 1921 :
