Witnesses John Kelly and Lizzie Doherty Children of Francis and Teresa : (10 children born, 7 still living in 1911) Children born Donegal Town, Francis a Merchant / Grocer / Shopkeeper - Daniel b 1 Feb 1877 James b 5 Jul 1878 - see 1901 census Lifford Margaret b 10 Sep 1879 Mary Elizabeth b 22 Aug 1882 Francis John b 27 Jul 1885 Children born Summerhill, Francis a Farmer - Anthony b 11 Nov 1888 d 19 Dec 1915 : The Late Mr
Anthony Kelly, Summerhill, Donegal by his numerous friends and all those who knew him with feelings of the deepest sorrow and regret, for he was extremely popular, as a result of his probity, geniality, and obliging manner. Deceased, who had only attained the age of twenty six, was confined to bed a few days prior to his demise, but for some months previously he had not been in the best of health. To prolong a life full of promise and usefulness, the best medical skill was resorted to, but it was otherwise decreed, and, surrounded by his sorrowing parents, brothers and sister, and strengthened by the Rites of the Catholi Church, to which he was devotedly attached, he breathed his last. His end was peace and calmness, a fitting, although early, close of a pious life. The funeral on Tuesday week to the family burying ground Killymard, was large and representative, a striking testimony to the popularity of deceased, and a demonstration of the esteem and respect entertained for his father, mother, and other members of his family. The chief mourners were : Francis Kelly (father), Daniel Kelly, Summerhill, and James Kelly, Co Council Office, Lifford (brothers). The Rev Daniel Coyle, PP, performed the burial ceremony.
