October 23 1830

On the 20th inst., at the Parish Church of Aughaninchin, by the Rev. George Homan, SIR JAMES STEWART, BART, of Fortstewart, to JANE, fourth daughter of the late FRANCIS MANSFIELD, ESQ. of Castlewray, This event occasioned a great joy to the worthy Baronet's numerous tenantry, to which they gave expression in bonfires and illuminations. The town of Ramelton, in particular, was splendidly illuminated, tar barrels were to be seen disturbing the reign of night in every quarter, and an amateur band perambulated the streets till a late hour, and played a variety of airs in excellent style
