Donegal Tweed Cushion Cover - Bunbeg

This cushion cover was knitted and designed by me using 100% wool, Donegal Aran Tweed (Bréidín Árainn), spun by Donegal Yarns in Kilcar,
and a vintage Maggie 'The Wool from Donegal' knitting pattern, produced by Magee's of Donegal Town in the 1960s.
This wool is Donegal Yarns' original Aran
weight (thickness) knitting yarn (1.61nm).
Using only the best wools, it meets all the requirements of modern yarn yet with its large flecks and having been spun in the traditional woollen spun
method it has all the ingredients of the
traditional homespun Donegal.
