Donegal Homespun Style A, Medium size EUR 29 + EUR 8 postage
This stunning and warm hat is knitted with Homespun Donegal 100% Irish wool from Kilcar, Co Donegal. It is a mule spun knitting yarn, which means the machinery used to spin the raw wool duplicates the motion of a hand spinner, to retain the natural elasticity of lanolin-rich wool fibers. The beauty of this yarn is that it is random in colour, it is not one particular colour, and it is spun in a multicolour manner, so that no two hanks or items made from it are the same.

Donegal Irish Heather 'Séamus', Medium size EUR 29 + EUR 8 postage
Thick, ever so soft, and a beautiful colour - deep blue with a hint of purple and flecks of heather. Irish Heather (Fraoch Gaelach) is Donegal Yarns famous Aran weight wool, 3 ply (1.5Nm). It is best suited to traditional hand knitting. This yarn combines soft fibres, vibrant colours and traditional homespun yarn techniques whilst meeting all the qualities expected from a natural fibre modern yarn. |
