Leck Cemetery is in Oldtown behind the modern day Letterkenny, not far from Carrygalley.
It has an Old Section and a New Section a short distance apart
This graveyard contains both Catholic and Protestant family plots
See Map for the location of the Old Cemetery within Oldtown
There are the ruins of an ancient church in the grounds of the old cemetery and incorporated into one of its walls is a carved stone

Notes:
1. Laird/Hoome
The 1824 Pigot’s Directory shows Jane Laird, Innkeeper, Letterkenny. In the 1846 Slater's Directory there is a listing for Jane Laird, Spirit & Porter Dealers, Letterkenny. In Slater’s 1856 Directory of Ireland, Anne Hoome is proprietor of Laird’s Hotel, Letterkenny. In 1881 Slater, the listing is: Hoome, Anne, Letterkenny, Spirit & Porter Dealer; and in the 1894 Slater Directory, it lists Laird's Hotel, "late A Hoome" [Archibald] (now J.Fellows [Jane]). According to one "story" Laird's Hotel is where Wolfe Tone was taken after he was captured. Also, in the old Leck cemetery, there is a grave marked John Laird Hoome which is the only Laird grave I can find in all of Letterkenny.
