Erected By Her Husband

The only clue to the identity of Williams father is that one of the sponsors for the baptism of Mary Ellen Gallagher is George Gallagher. I have detected in the Conwal and Leck Marriage records the Marriage of a George Gallagher Manorcunningham to Susanna Burns, daughter of William Burns, Pluck, on the 21st December 1880. George’s Father is listed as James Gallagher, Manorcunningham. This James Gallagher is listed in the Griffith's Valuations in the Town of Manorcunningham dating around 1857, so it is likely therefore he is William’s father.
