- Daniel, living with Susan in Derora in 1901. In 1920 Daniel applied for the pension and a search of the 1851 census was conducted. The report showed that parents James Mullan and Mary Gallagher married in 1837 and that the

  only child named Daniel found, had died in 1848 aged 4 months - this Daniel must have been a second son to be given that name. See Daniel's Census Search Form

- Edward (nothing known)

Hugh died tragically on 30 Aug 1894 after falling off a horse drawn cart load of turf near his home

- Death certificate states his death occured in Glendowanbeg, after being accidentally killed by a cart wheel passing over his chest
